Super Coal is a product developed as an additive specially for green sand moulds
It enables long-term management of green sand, improvement of cast surface and quality by better collapsibility of high quality coal with high coat ability on sand.

■ Reducing Atmosphere Theory
Because volatile matter of carbon mainly consist of reducing substances such as hydrogen etc. the interface between hot metal and mould is so reducible that the generation of iron oxide is suppressed and the generation
  Fe+O→FeO  2FeO+SiO2→2FeO・SiO2        of iron silicate prevents the cast surface defects and seizure.  Fe+O→FeO  2FeO+SiO2→2FeO・SiO2

■ Gaseous Cushion Theory
Volatile matter content in the coal powder is gasified by the heat of molten metal so that a gas film is built up, which prevents the direct contact of the molten metal and mould surface, hence improves the cast surface and prevents the seizure.

■ Lustrous Carbon Theory
Volatile matter content in the coal powder undergoes thermal decomposition on the hot mould interface and forms carbon film on it, which prevents direct contact of the hot metal and mould, so that the cast surface is improved and the seizure is prevented.

OS Pax is a high-silica refractory
OS Pax belongs to plastic refractories and is adjusted to adequate softness by adding water.
OS Pax has superior corrosion resistance by dosage of graphite SiO and is a refractory with its wide usability.

■ Features of OS Pax
High heat resistance
High purity raw material is utilized as aggregate and has wide usability, and by means of dosage of minute mineralizer
a good densification and high heat resistance in a high temperature range (1200~1500℃)are achieved.

High corrosion resistance
with dosage of SiC and graphite a superior feature, such as high resistance to abrasion  by molten metal and slug, is given.

For the purpose of molten metal treatment a lot of slag removal agents such as pumices、pearlite etc.
are used, which mainly cause deterioration of working environment within factories.
Connector fully prevents airborne dust with high treatment effect and concentrates slag and  foreign substances to be removed at once.



■ Features of Connector
Compared to pumices and pearlite, consumption saving of 30% can be achieved.
Oxygen in the atmosphere is shut off, so that the temperature reduction is prevented.
Less adhesion to electro furnace and ladle.
No substances are contained, which could deteriorate molten metal.

OS Patch is a product developed for exclusive use for cupola furnace making use of
OS Pax refractory lining technology.
Because it is a refractory material which does not contain graphite, utilization in a oxidation atmosphere is  presupposed.
An refractory with a good burn densification under high temperature by adding special binder on our own 
  technique to pyrophyllite quality.

Super Coal ♯7 OS Pax Connector OS Patch Graphite Patch PC Carbon PC Carbon G

Graphite Patch is a patching material for light repair of ladle, forehearth, drainpipe, hand shank etc., has
high heat-retaining property because of heat resistant silica as main component and
allows extraordinary high fire-resistant property being used in combination with OS Pax.
This is, similar to the OS Pax, a high siliceous refractory.
Because of finer particle size, adequate refractory for rationalizing workmanship management.

PC carbon is a carburizer developed for FC quality. It is baked for the
purpose of making carburizer adequate for FC quality.
 It is possible to achieve the carburizing yield of more than 90%.
The content of sulfur and nitrogen is strictly controlled in order to fulfill every
melting conditions. 
  and an adequate grain control is m in consideration of optimization and rationalization
of working environment in foundries.

As graphite powder is utilized as main component, it is low with nitrogen and sulfur.
Like PC Carbon, it is possible to achieve the carburizing yield of more than 90%.
